Made this for a pal (oi! Joshy!) in October '09 for a masquerade ball he was going to. If you can believe it, that's one single piece of wet formed leather. Not a seam or a stitch to be found. Colored with a couple acrylic washes, and sealed tight with three spray coats.
Though inspired by Pan's Labyrinth, I can't help but think this design could lead to a horiffic Krampus down the line. Mwahahahaha! Most of my mask works sell for $100, but as they are getting more and more complicated as I practice, prices may very. If you like what you see, hit me at greatnsecret@gmail and we can find just the animal to mask your own personal beastly nature! |

Here's the only known photo of the bat-mask in it's natural habitat (on the floor of the Press Room, natch). I've done two of these as of this posting, and fear not only reprisals from DC Comics, Warner Bros., Tim Burton and Dave McKean, but also expect the cops to come knocking when this thing inevitably jumps out at someone from a hotel closet while they're tied to the bed. I'll just wait here for the call.
In the meantime, if you want one for your own dark sheknightigans, try me at greatnsecret@gmail. At only $100, you don't gotta be millionaire playboy to afford one of these. Hideous snarly teeth not included. |
